Input data format
- Note: The input format is currently defined in the User manual, in the Internal description of the METIS simulator, inthis note and in this note
- To simplify things, we here provide example images for the main formats, the simulator accepts
- a flat image file, e.g. this AGN simulation.
- an image file with a spectrum, e.g. this AGN simulation (the image is in the primary FITS header data unit, the first image extension contains the wavelength vector, the second image extension contains the spectrum
